Eddison Park Disc Golf Course

The new Eddison Park course is now fully playable. The course has 10 new baskets making for an 18 basket layout and includes a practice basket. This new layout includes turf teepads, marked 10m circles and full signage. The start of the course now plays from the main parking area adjacent to the skatepark although, you can still start from the cemetery parking lot which is now hole 9.

The locally made custom baskets at Eddison park have been in the ground for over 20 years now and were one of the first basket installations in Australia. The park has seen some significant changes over the years including the addition of the skate park, upgraded path networks, fitness equipment installations, and the possible loss of half of the course due to the cemetery expanding. All of these changes have impacted the course into various iterations. After a successful 2019 Capital Assistance Program grant from ACT Sports and Recreation, the ACT Disc Golf Club was able to upgrade the course into a moderate 18 hole layout. The first 8 holes are completely new and the back part of the course contains many of Eddison’s classic holes (Original layout and design by Greg Sparksman) such as 10, 11, 13, 14, 17 & 18 (or modified to play in a similar way).
