The updated RAD Eagle is a fully galvanised outdoor disc golf basket. It carries 30 hot-dipped galvanised chains — 12 outer, 12 middle and 6 inner — across two independent chain rings. The slimline 50 mm band is galvanised and then powder coated in hi-vis yellow for visibility on the course. Cage, pole and base are all hot-dip galvanised, and every fixing is 304-grade stainless steel, so it holds up for years in the Australian outdoors.
If you’re a school, a camp, or putting a private course together on a budget, the Eagle is a strong choice — lighter than the Ace, and still built for permanent outdoor installation.
The Eagle is designed to work either way. The standard portable version ships in one box with a two-part main pole and base. With the add-on conversion kit — a pole extension and installation sleeve — the same basket becomes a permanent in-ground installation.

Heavy-gauge galvanised steel chain assembly
The top band and chain rack are hot-dip galvanised heavy-gauge steel. Chains are hung in a dual-pattern configuration that absorbs putts from every angle — engineered to shrug off decades of weather and play.
Hot-dip galvanised, welded construction
Cage, pole and base are hot-dip galvanised; every fixing is 304-grade stainless steel; heavy-duty welded construction carrying 30 strands of hot-dip galvanised chain.
Galvanised, then powder coated
The slimline 50 mm band is galvanised and then powder coated in hi-vis yellow. All other steel is left hot-dip galvanised so it holds up for years in the Australian outdoors.

A hi-vis yellow band gives visibility on the course without the bulk of a full chain rack.
One box as standard — or a permanent conversion kit
The standard portable version ships in one box with a two-part main pole and base. The add-on conversion kit — a pole extension and installation sleeve — turns the same basket into a permanent in-ground installation.
