Upper Yarra Secondary College in Yarra Junction has introduced a 9-hole disc golf course, designed by RAD’s Andrew Ferguson. Integrated into the school's PE curriculum, it’s accessible to students and staff during school hours and open to the public after hours. Disc golf's 8-9 month tour season offers a variety of events, from PDGA Majors and National Tour (NT) stops to the Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) and the Disc Golf World Tour (DGWT). Home of the 2021 Australian Disc Golf Championships, Inverleigh Disc Golf Course is located at the Inverleigh Golf Club. Redesigned by our own Andrew Ferguson, disc golf is played alongside the golf course for the opening few holes. However, players are then taken into a heavily wooded section off the golf fairways which features some elevation changes and water hazards. Synthetic grass tee pads are featured on each hole, as are the RAD Ace Baskets.
